Faces

Had a good time on saturday with out faces project. The idea was that people turn up at the studio in middlesbrough between12 and 3pm and have a picture taken free of charge. The idea was that it was short notice and that id just see who turned up.
It was fun to just see who would come through the door and a few turned up as we were not really sure if anyone would come.

Faces

This saturday we are having an open session at the studio. The idea is people just turn up and have their portrait made. However they turn up. No need to be a model. Its one image per person and each person will get a hi-res edited image via email afterwards
No sales pitch, no catches.

Should be fun.

Wedding on Sunday

Shooting a wedding at Wynyard Hall on Sunday, really looking forward to it. Also have a fashion shoot over the weekend which should be good.
Results will be up here probably end of next week.

Sleep is for?

Well I seem to manage to work 16 hour days consistently and its taking its toll, however its productive. Website has just been rebuilt and has taken ages to do, you can see it at http://www.greenmangostudio.co.uk/

Looking through Vogue this month and finding some good inspiration there, particularly the latest shoot with Kate Moss, really want to try and emulate this.

Few different things going on here but here we go.

Rob

This shoot with rob was based on the idea of a free runner. I introduced some water into the shoot as think water is a very flexible tool. On one hand it can denote power and on the other hand softness and tranquility. And pretty much anything in between. So in some of these pictures i hope that the water has added to the image to increase the sense of power slightly whilst adding a degree of visual intrerest.

This was a good shoot, made difficult by me not having my main camera to hand so this was done on the backup but still it went well.

Green Mango Studio

Green Mango Studio is moving forward fast now and interest is gathering.

Green Mango Studio is run by Martin(myself) and Katie. 

We are partnered with Kreative Talent Agency who are making some fairly big moves now in the movie industry.

So what better time to start this blog.
I hope we will get a good number of followers in time.
